FSA created its London-based Credit Solutions group to bring together its in-house expertise in asset securitization and public finance in order to develop new products in the public finance sector. The group helps issuers develop appropriate off-balance-sheet financings to improve debt management and realize the full economic potential of valuable assets, such as administrative buildings, health care receivables, water tariffs and many others. It also has the ability to structure FSA-guaranteed collateralized debt obligations backed by municipal, sovereign and infrastructure financings.
