Our guaranteed investment contracts (GICs) allow issuers of structured and municipal financings to optimize returns and manage draw-schedule characteristics or maturities while investing their funds in Triple-A insured investments that generate targeted returns until funds are disbursed.
Structured GICs
We can tailor GICs for a variety of uses in the structured finance market. In the most typical example, we provide a guaranteed rate of return on the proceeds of credit-linked notes, which fund cash reserves to collateralize synthetic collateralized debt obligations. Originators offer FSA attractive funding based on the need for Triple-A collateral and the value of our structuring expertise.
Municipal GICs
FSA offers GICs for both construction funds and debt reserve funds. These contracts provide reliable investment returns along with high-quality credit protection and flexibility.
